It's been a blustery grey week here, so my Summer wardrobe is starting to gather a bit of dust, but although I did buy this Primark polka dot midi pleat skirt for a Summer holiday, I do love wearing it all year round.. ❤️

.

Like a lot of people, I have a lot of clothes that I only ever seem to wear with set combinations.. This skirt is usually with a black cami vest top and a pair of sandals in Summer and then I swap to a black jumper and black ankle boots the rest of the time.

With the stuck indoors world that was lockdown, I took a serious look at my wardrobe and realised, I have too many things that I don't really wear, or that I only wear one way. So, a small challenge I've set myself is to mix and match my clothes more.

This can be difficult sometimes, because of the season, or packing for a holiday where you have limited space, so in this post, I'm looking at how with just 8 items, it's easy to wear something several ways, casual to smart, day to evening, and Summer to Autumn.. 🍁

1 Primark skirt, 3 tops, 3 pairs of footwear, 1 bag and a lightweight jacket. Now, obviously you can add accessories, add a different bag, do whatever you like, but even I've realised this skirt that my wardrobe has a lot more outfits in it, with less items..

.

I haven't quite broken out the jumpers fully yet, but just a sweatshirt and jacket can keep your Summer gear going for a little while longer.. 👍
