I USED TO..

I recently hit a milestone birthday, and have found myself struggling with a crisis of confidence..
I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in feeling this way, but the one thing I'm sure about is my own sense of how I like to dress, the clothes and colours that suit me, and what I most definitely will avoid.. 👍
I think some of that comes with age and experience, but I have noticed that a lot of people, no matter their age, seem to reach a point where they say "I used to wear those things..".
What they sadly seem to mean is they wouldn't even dare to wear those things anymore.. 😕 Bright colours, something a little fitted, even a skirt come to mind, as people stick with their comfort zone.
I buy a lot of what friends have termed "quirky", or they'll say "it's very you..". I, thankfully, don't take offence, as I have learned that much as they don't like a lot of what I wear, they applaud my "bravery" in buying them in the first place. 👏
What is the thing you wish you were brave enough to wear..? 🤔
Here's a challenge for you.. Pick one thing in your wardrobe that you love but don't wear because it's "too bright" or "too smart" or "too dressy", and wear it anyway.. 😁👍🥰
